china updates visas and residence permit
china is to update its foreigner visa, group visa and residence permit from june 1. bureaus of exit and entry administration across the country will in the meantime stop issuing the current versions of the foreigner visa, tourist visa to special economic zone, group visa and residence permit.
the new foreigner visa and residence permit cards will also feature a color profile picture of the holder.

the ministry of public security launched 10 new measures from june 1, including:

car driving license test can be taken nationwide. applicants can apply for a small car driving license directly in any place in the country with id card, and no longer need to submit a residence registration certificate.

applicants who apply for a small car driving license have passed some of the subject tests and have changed their place of residence to work outside of the country due to work, study, life, etc., can apply for change of the test place and continue to participate in the remaining subject test.

applicants who apply for a large and medium-sized vehicle driver’s license in a different province (district) can apply directly with their id card, and no need to submit a residence registration certificate.

motorcycle annual inspection can be done nationwide. on the basis of the implementation of the national inspection of automobiles, the motorcycles will be further released across provinces. at the same time, motorcycles registered for less than 6 years are exempt from inspection by inspection agencies.

civil servants can retire early
the revised civil service law will come into effect on june 1, 2019. civil servants can retire early if they work for 30 years.
if a civil servant meets one of the following conditions, voluntarily submit an application and, with the approval of the appointment and dismissal authority, may retire early:
